- UK Defra SCP Compliance policy and Energy Label Market Picture Testing program(2008-2010)
- Study on sustainable public procurement as a potential driver for eco-innovation
- UK Dti (through KPMG, 1991) compliance cost assessment of the then proposed Packaging Directive. Consulted with all main industries producing and using packaging, from primary materials producers, packaging manufacturers, fillers and retailers; assessed the costs to industry of implementing the EC Packaging Directive
- Completed Sustainable Consumption and Production scoping study focused on resource efficiency and waste, energy efficiency, water supply, sanitation and use for the BSI (2006)
- Contributed to the EC policy framework for SCP through participation in the Sustainable Consumption Research Exchange project and EC expert conferences
- Completing research on the role of business in realising SCP and reducing energy use in housing/construction
- Reviewing barriers and technology and policy solutions to increasing the use of recycled plastics in electronic and electrical goods. The project included wide industry and expert consultation
- Completion of a report entitled 'Lifting markets - a role for public procurement' that was presented in the EEDAL international energy efficiency in domestic appliance and lighting conference (June 2006)
